Sue Miller started Fabric Garden in March 2012, when she decided to combine her two passions - IT and patchwork. We meet every second Saturday, 1pm - 5pm at the Scots Kirk. If you are resident in the Mosman area - the Barn Quilters welcomes new members. Fabric Garden's stand number is J35. Sue is a member of the NSW Quilters Guild and Treasurer of her local quilting group - The Barn Quilters. Fabric Garden is a regular feature at the Mosman Village & Craft Markets held on the first Saturday of the month (8am - 4pm), at Spit Junction, Mosman, NSW. Meet Sue at the next Sydney Craft and Quilt Show at Darling Harbour. Sue loves talking to her customers - so if you have a question or just want to talk - give her a call. People starting sewing are attracted to projects that are easy, combined with unique fabrics, bright and, make a bold statement in their home. There is a huge movement afoot where sewing is becoming vogue again. It soon become obvious that the people she was making quilts for preferred that the quilts they were making fit in with their contemporary and modern homes. Sue started quilting using traditional fabrics, but was soon drawn to the brighter colours of modern fabrics. With her IT experience, Sue has been able to work on enhancing her online store so that the store is friendly and easy to use. Fabric Garden is an online business supplying modern quilting and patchwork fabric and is located on the lower north shore in Sydney, Australia. (more).
