Carsten Burmeister has been a professional photographer in the Sydney graphic arts scene since 1979.
Sydney PHOTOART brings you photographic prints of famous Sydney locations such as Sydney Harbour, Sydney Harbour Bridge and other famous landmarks, the Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay, attractions and beaches like the infamous Bondi Beach and much more. It is there he got the inspiration for my style of photography, light is used to maximum effect, composition is all-important and attention to detail reigns. After his education in Germany in the late 1960th, and much of that time in the Rijksmuseum, Holland, he spent two years in Amsterdam, studying the paintings of Dutch and Flemish masters. (more).
